I’m all about presentation – how it looks, how it’s presented. So it was no wonder I wasn’t drawn to the latest Christmas kit from Stampin Up.

Quite often I hand out my orders and custom gifts in my own labelled kraft bags. This Christmas I can add an adorable gift tag to them from Stampin Up.

This kit is similar to the Paper Pumpkin kits that I am also a fan of. These kits make crafting easy as no special tools or additional items are required. Check out my review of the Paper Pumpkin kits here.

The Love Santa Kit from Stampin Up

The Love Santa Kit comes in 2 different combinations – one that makes gift tags only and another that also includes treat bags.

What I love about these kits is that everything you need is included in the kit! You literally just need a pair of scissors and you are good to go.

Here’s what comes in the kit:

  • 4 different gift tags (Santa, Christmas Tree, car loaded with gifts and holiday foliage), 3 each – for a total of 12 gift tags
  • all the die cuts necessary to assemble them. They’re even pre cut so you just have to punch them out!
  • coordinating stamps – these work not only for the tags but will work well for Christmas cards as well. It includes the “to and from” stamp as well for you to put on the back of the tags if you want to address the tags.
  • Night of Navy ink spot – this is a great colour I use for so many things. The small ink spot is handy for smaller stamps
  • acrylic stamp block – I didn’t realize this was included in the kit. It’s always great to have another block.
  • adhesives (glue dots and dimensionals), twine and sequins

Product Review

As mentioned, these kits could not be any easier. Everything is included and so it is a matter of assembling. I was able to put one of each design together in a short period of time as per usual, Stampin Up kits are pretty easy to work with.

Economically speaking, I don’t think I could find the same quality tag (with all the embellishments for this price. It works out to be less than $2 per tag.

Not only is it economical, but these tags are also beautiful. I love all the details. You can mix and match the sentiments and truly customize them to however you want.

This is a great kit with designs that work for all ages. I highly recommend this as something to have on hand for the holidays.

Stampin Up carries several kits for not only gift tags, but cards as well. If you like the idea of everything included in a kit, then this is for you.

I love all kinds of crafts, including paper and ink. As a Stampin Up Demonstrator, I’d love to help you coordinate your supplies, as well as inspire you for various paper crafts, including cardmaking. I would love to help you place an order or if you’d like to place the order yourself on the Stampin Up website, please indicate me as your Demonstrator – simply search for my name, Nancy Quan when placing your order. It is much appreciated as it helps me fund my own craft-making.
