Many of these Cricut projects for the kitchen involve vinyl – either adhesive vinyl or heat transfer vinyl.

What Do You Need for Cricut Projects for the Kitchen?

You just need a few basics for these Cricut projects – a Cricut machine and some vinyl. If using heat transfer vinyl, you’ll need a heat source, like an iron or the Cricut Easy Press. Both, adhesive and heat transfer vinyl require weeding tools. Adhesive vinyl also requires transfer tape and a scraper.

TOOLS YOU’LL NEED

Let’s start off with some adhesive vinyl projects. Check out my post, All About Adhesive Vinyl for details on the application.

Adhesive Vinyl on Small Appliances

Decorate your small appliances with a.bit of vinyl. You can use either permanent or removable vinyl for these projects.

I personally use removable vinyl as I like the option of changing it up if I feel the need.

Here are some of the small appliances in my home.

Removable adhesive vinyl is not really different from permanent adhesive vinyl, except for the fact you can remove it. Read more details about removable adhesive vinyl projects in this post here.

Removable Vinyl Projects

Removable Vinyl on Kitchen Cupboards

While I know that some may choose to decorate their cupboards with vinyl as a decor choice, I prefer to use removable vinyl on the inside of my cupboards for reference.

Check out this handy reference chart I made for the inside of my kitchen cupboard door. It comes in so handy when baking.

Again, this was made with removable vinyl which came in handy when we decided to paint our kitchen cabinets. We just peeled it off and were able to paint.

Adhesive Vinyl in the Pantry

I am all about organization and so labelling pantry items is a definite must. This ranges from spices to baking items. Having everything clearly labelled makes it easier to find and makes cooking and baking more enjoyable as a result.

You can get bins from a variety of places, including the dollar store and Ikea.

Don’t forget your dry goods! This is one of my first Cricut projects for the kitchen as it was so handy and helpful.

Adhesive Vinyl in the Fridge

Now since I like to label things, I was certainly going to include the fridge. You can choose to use permanent or removable vinyl here. Although deemed permanent, you can actually pick off the permanent vinyl if you really wanted to.

Here I’ve labelled the different bins. This helps us when putting groceries away as (just like in the pantry), everything has its place and there is no question as to where everything goes.

Bonus Cricut Projects for the Kitchen

Okay, this one is technically not in my kitchen – it’s outside. However, I know that many of you do organize your recycling inside your kitchen and so you may find this handy.

We find it easier to sort our recycling and so it was pretty easy to use adhesive vinyl to label our bins.

These bins are outside year-round and the adhesive vinyl has held up well.
