Who doesn’t love a deal? This is one of my favourite times of the year – it’s Amazon Prime Day 2022!

Amazon Prime Day 2022 is July 12 and 13, 2022 – for both the US and Canada! However, some deals were released early on June 21! For 2 days there will be tons of great deals – including deals for crafters!

What is Amazon Prime Day 2022?

This sale is for Amazon Prime Members only. Amazon Prime is their customer rewards program. As a Prime member, you will get access to all sorts of deals on Amazon – including household appliances, clothing, and of course – crafting supplies.

You’ll need an Amazon Prime membership in order to take advantage of the deals. With Amazon Prime, you’ll get free 2-day shipping on eligible orders (great when you need a printer cartridge in a hurry or a quick gift), as well as access to Kindle Books, access to Amazon Prime Video (movies and series, including The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel – a personal favourite, A Very British Scandal – a new favourite, and movies like Chicago and Notting Hill) and Amazon Music.

US membership is $12.99USD/month or $119USD/year. It is $7.99CAD/month or $79CAD/year in Canada. The Canadian side of Amazon has fewer items and therefore fewer deals. For me, the free shipping is worth it alone. I love how I can order some items and have it delivered the same day if ordered in the morning!

How to Prepare for Amazon Prime Day 2022

• make sure you have your Amazon Prime membership and that it is up to date and ready to go
• download the Amazon App to your smartphone so that you can check out deals on the go

There are several brands of cutting mats, HTV, and adhesive vinyl, but I’m not familiar with all of them and I am hesitant to recommend something, just because it is a good deal. If there is a brand that you swear by, please let me know.
