Black Friday this year is going to be a little different, as you can imagine. Like many of you, I’ve been scouring online sales in order to limit my in-person shopping. I’m happy to say that there are deals all around, for those who shop online, as well as in-store.
Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales have been around for a while, following the American Thanksgiving. It is known as the time to get some deals for the holidays.
This year, people have started a little sooner. Let’s face it, we all need some good cheer with the year we’ve had.
I’ll be updating this post all weekend long, so keep checking back for the latest.

Other Black Friday Deals Too Good Not to Share
These are not craft-related, but I wanted to share them with you anyway.
- Tieks. I love these ballet flats. Every year on Black Friday they release a special, limited edition colour. This year it is Tyrian Purple in crushed velvet.
- Vitamix. I use mine almost daily. Not only does it make the smoothest smoothies, but it also makes soups and dips. Now is a good time to get one as they are on sale (while quantities last) and they also offer an interest-free payment plan. This is definitely an investment piece but it’s so worth it.
- Dyson. I love my Dyson V11 and I’ve been looking at the air purifier/fan. This is the time to purchase as these can be quite pricey and at least some models are on sale now.
- Instant Pot (Amazon) – CAD or USD. As a busy, working mom, I must admit that I use mine a couple of times a week. It cooks things much faster and does a great job from chicken to chocolate lava cake!
