What is Amazon Prime?
This sale is for Amazon Prime Members only. Amazon Prime is their customer rewards program. As a Prime member, you will get access to all sorts of deals on Amazon – including household appliances, clothing, and of course – crafting supplies.
You’ll need an Amazon Prime membership in order to take advantage of the deals. With Amazon Prime, you’ll get free 2-day shipping on eligible orders (great when you need a printer cartridge in a hurry or a quick gift), as well as access to Kindle Books, access to Amazon Prime Video (movies and series, including the Marvellous Mrs. Maisel – a personal favourite) and Amazon Music.
US membership is $12.99USD/month or $119USD/year. In Canada, it is $7.99CAD/month or $79CAD/year. The Canadian side of Amazon has fewer items and therefore fewer deals. For me, the free shipping is worth it alone. I love how I can get light bulbs delivered the same day if I order in the morning!
Still not sure? Try Amazon Prime for FREE for 30 days. You’ll be able to take advantage of the Prime Day sales and check out some of the other features. Click here to start your 30 Day Free Amazon Prime Trial. It’ll be like getting 13 months for the price of 12 months!.

Amazon Prime Day 2020 Deals for Knitters and Crocheters
Crochet Hook Set USD – these are the ergonomic hooks that I like to use. They come with extra accessories and a little case as well. Great price!
Knitting Needle or Crochet Hook Case USD – I have a similar case for my circular needles. It’s very handy. It zips up to keep everything contained. This seems like a good price.
Stitch Markers USD – great for amigurumi or other yarn projects. I’m always losing them too, so a big set is always handy.
Stitch Marker Set USD – this set has a variety of markers and holders, good for any yarn project.
Set/4 Pom Pom Maker USD – I used to do the cardboard thing, but these pom pom makers are great.
Amazon Prime Day 2020 Deals for Sewers
Sewing Clips USD CAD – I can’t imagine sewing without these clips. I prefer the larger set as sometimes they break and I am always losing them. However, the tin to hold them is a nice touch as well.
Fiskars Thread Snips CAD – I recently got a similar pair. They are super sharp! Watch your fingers, but they certainly get the job done.
Self Healing Cutting Mat USD CAD – these are great for not only sewing but crafting as well.
Embroidery Floss Set CAD – I know this is a big set with lots of colours. I like to use embroidery floss for sewing buttons. It’s also great for embroidery in Amigurumi. The US side has a really nice set that is already wound on bobbins and in a case.
Soft Measuring Tape USD – this 3 pack is a great deal. I like to have a few as I can never find them. Not as good a deal on the CAD side, but not bad.
Quilting Ruler Set/4 USD CAD – these always come in handy, not only for sewing but for crafting as well.

Nicapa Heat Press Mat 12×12 USD – I’ve never tried this particular mat but I know that you do need a good mat underneath your Easy Press. For this price, it’d be worth a try. Nicapa is known for its items that are compatible with Cricut.

Cricut Light Grip Mats Set/3 USD
Cricut Scoring Wheel CAD – I’ve been subbing my scoring stylus with my maker but the creases aren’t too strong. I’m going to get this in hopes of better scoring.
Realike Mats CAD – these supposedly work with the Cricut. I thought I’d give them a try as I’ve heard good reviews and it’s a great price.
VINYL. – I personally stick to brand name as the off-brands tend to be hit/miss.
Oracal 651 Permanent Vinyl, Starter Pack CAD – Oracal is the industry standard for vinyl. This pack has everything to get you started.
Oracal 631 (Removable) & 651 (Permanent) Vinyl Pack CAD – this combo has both types of vinyl that can be used for so many projects.
